Default Kouramon Spotters unfair aggro

I have recently noticed that these Kouramon Spotters seem to have an unuasly large aggro circle around them. Mainly as soon as you get them into the radar they start running you down. This is a problem that I believe needs to be fixed. I could understand them spotting you when you are almost to your own aggro circle but not the radar range limit, whats with them do they have permanent binocoulars attached to their faces or what. ANd when they see you they drag their whole company with them. This is not how the new AI is supposed to work. Oh and try to shake that stupidf spotter, it's near immpossible to do unless you warp out of the area.

Thats why there called Kournan Spotters. And stop whining about shaking them off, kill the group of the easy kournans, it won't kill you.

It's not an issue what-so-ever. I've gotten at LEAST up to Venta Cemetery with all 10 of my PvE characters, most of which are past that point, and a few have completed the campaign. I've never had a problem with their groups adding on.

Kournans are so weak, it's almost unfair.

They're called spotters for a reason.

It is not a problem, it is intended.

In fact, in one of the quests you got told about exactly this behaviour. Not in such a straight fashion as 'Kournan Spotters have a larger than normal aggro radius' but there is dialogue in one of the quests letting you know that you need to keep an eye out for them.

As has been stated, it's not too difficult to deal with, especially when you know what's going on. It's probably more important to know what the Kournan Field Commanders are doing...

They aggro at 2-2.5 aggro bubbles, I think. No problems dealing with overblown kournans here.

This is like "OMG the shiroken are aggroing on me from a radar away!" Its not a problem it was intended. They aren't the only mobs to act this way. And they are called kournan spotters because well they spot you and tell get their group on you.

The huge aggro range of Kournan Spotters is intentional. You're even warned about it when you pick one of the quests that involve killing them (I think it might be The Great Escape).

It's perfectly normal for the Spotters to have a large aggro circle. They spot you from a distance and then call in the Siege attack artillery. Kill the Spotters first and you won't get blasted while you polish of their buddy's.

I love the spotters! I swear, earlier today, I saw a spotter (who always tend to have the Priests trail with them) notice us, run toward us a few feet, then turn around and go back to his group, as if to tell them what he saw! After that, the group as a whole started running toward us! I thought it was hilarious.

Honestly, they're insanely easy groups to dispatch. As long as you're aware they do that, just be sure to not get too close if you're already working on another group - ya know, so you don't get ganged. Just kill the priests, Wild Blow the Bowman, the rest is cake.

Yeah, they soon learn their lesson though, a Fellblade to the skull works a charm.
